Coming Soon: Yggdrasil, the Tree of Life
And so the story begins…
A long time ago, a trio of Dreamers went out on a journey to find a place that they can call home. After a long and tiresome journey, they stumbled upon an island. At first glance, the island looked like it was uninhibited but after some exploration, they found that there were Natives on the island.
The Dreamers were wary of the Natives as they didn’t know if the Natives were hostile. They tried approaching the Natives and found that the Natives were extremely friendly and fascinated that there were people who could come from outside of the island.
The Natives brought the Dreamers to their town and it was completely beyond their expectation. The Dreamers had thought that the Natives would be living on treetops and such but to their surprise, they were met with a town right out of a fairy tale. Houses made of cake, buildings made for apes, castles, and so much more.
The Dreamers then tried to find out how the Natives had the knowledge to build all these things when they had never been off the island and the Natives told them that it was all thanks to Yggdrasil, the tree of life. The fruit from Yggdrasil were akin to magical fruits. If you are wounded, the fruit will heal you and if you seek knowledge, you will be imparted with knowledge and wisdom that could not be obtained on the island.
However, from the knowledge the Natives had gathered, they found out that the current Yggdrasil is merely a sapling. Yggdrasil feeds off the positive energy in the atmosphere but as there were a very small number of Natives, Yggdrasil remained a sapling that could only bear fruits with little power. After the Dreamers heard the story, they were determined to help the Natives grow the island and Yggdrasil.
Thus, they left Oasis island in search of more people to join the Natives.

We will be launching a new feature very soon on Oasis which is Yggdrasil, our Airdrop Tree.
In the beginning, the Natives can only harvest a limited number of fruits from Yggdrasil as it is still in its sapling form. As we gather more Natives, Yggdrasil will grow and along with it’s growth, the harvest will grow as well.
During Yggdrasil’s sapling phase, Natives that hold any Oasis NFT (OG, Beta Tester, Halloween) and/or raffle ticket holders will be given Airdrop Points. Each category will have different amounts of Airdrop Points. The Airdrop Points will be accumulated daily and Natives can claim their Airdrop at the end of each week.
OG — 600 points/day
Beta Tester — 300 points/day
Event NFT (Halloween) — 150 points/day
1 Raffle Ticket — 175 points/day
There will be a more detailed article on the mechanics of Yggdrasil closer to the launch of this feature.
